DON'T LET ADDICTION DEFINE YOUR FUTURE
HELPING YOUNG ADULTS NAVIGATE THEIR EMOTIONS AND PREPARE FOR SUCCESS
MY -
PHILOSOPHY
For many years I struggled with addiction. I've seen first hand how dangerous it can be and the long term damage it can cause. After ten years of drug abuse, multiple rehabs and damaged relationships it finally clicked for me and I was able to see how to get out from under addiction and live a purposeful life.
By combining my personal experiences and my background in the behavioral health industry I am able to help families and clients navigate the path to recovery and emotional success. Not everyone benefits from the same course of treatment, trust me, I have tried them all. There is not one right answer.
I believe in fostering a relationship without judgement. This unconditional support allows clients to feel comfortable sharing open and honestly. Families often finish services feeling armed with knowledge, resources and improved communication skills. Clients feel they have a voice in their own recovery and are able to begin pursuing their passions on their way to living their own purpose driven life.
I received my Masters Degree from Columbia University in Developmental Psychology and a Certificate in Early Childhood Education from Hunter College. I continue to receive training on Trauma Informed Care, Peer Support Based Services and currently working toward furthering my education in the field of substance abuse.
